Sealing buildings to make them energy efficient apparently has been the cause of sick-building syndrome. Sealed buildings trap contaminants and they also manufacture new ones. The occupants of such buildings can be afflicted with various symptoms such as dizziness, fatigue and nose and throat discomfort.

In search of sleep; getting a natural night's sleep

Article Abstract:

Sleeping pills may not be the best solution for sleeping difficulties. A more natural method recommends the reduction or elimination of alcohol, caffeine and nicotine, as well as the use of aerobic exercise and relaxation techniques. These and other sleeping tips are discussed.

Sweetness and lite? In spite of their popularity, artificial sweeteners don't contribute to weight loss

Article Abstract:

Artificial sweeteners have few or no calories, but there are other disadvantages. Saccharin carries a health warning. Aspartame has FDA approval, but also carries a warning. Acesulfame K (Sunette), like the others, is not recommended for use in baking.
