It's a sin to tell a lie...

Article Abstract:

A study of lying found that most people tell one or two lies daily and that lying is part of 20% to 30% of all social interactions. One-fourth of lies are told out of altruism. People lie during 1/3 to [fraction one-half] of their interactions with their mothers.
