Kid speak out: a new study reveals how children really feel about their parents working - and what these kids want

Article Abstract:

Ellen Galinsky, who conducted a survey of more than 1,000 children and 600 parents on feelings about working parents, reports that children had the same views on their mothers whether they worked or not. She believes that many working parents are managing work and family life better than they think.

The joys of a 50/50 marriage

A survey of more than 3,000 working mothers who are married reveals that most are satisfied with their lives. Couples that share decisions about finances, and consider the spouse a best friend, were most satisfied emotionally and sexually.
