Article Abstract:

Fetal umbilical cord blood contains a high dosage of stem cells that play a vital role in the body's immune and blood systems. This blood can be used to save people afflicted with diseases such as leukemia. Controversy has arisen from ethical considerations surrounding the profit of fetal blood banks.
