The manner by which a couple competes with each other gives a good indication of the state of their relationship. There are couples who square off against each other quite fiercely, but without being threatening. There are some whose power struggles come out unconsciously during competition.

Debunking jealousy myths

Feelings of jealousy occur normally in relationships and should be considered as warning signs of a threat to the relationship. This feeling should not be allowed to become destructive and tolerated only as long as it is recognized as a way to promote the relationship's growth.
