Making old toys new again: how to help kids play with what they have instead of buying more

Parental guidance and imagination can help in converting old and unused toys into new and exciting objects for playing. Rotating or mixing up the toys, giving away the toys, keeping the pieces of a toy together are some of the ways for holding the interest of the child in the old toys.
