"My hair is falling out." (hair loss)

A woman suffering from alopecia areata, an autoimmune disorder that causes the immune system's T cells to destroy the hair follicles, experiences severe head and body hair loss. Undaunted, she has managed to cope with her ailment by wearing a custom wig and keeping her sense of humor intact.
