Newborn jaundice

Article Abstract:

Of all full-term newborns, 25% have jaundice. It is a symptom that the liver is not correctly breaking down the substance bilirubin for excretion, or that the child has an Rh disease. A simple hand test to determine if a child is jaundiced is described. Treatment for the condition is also described.

Let me see a smile

Article Abstract:

Children's baby teeth are important because they preserve the spacing for permanent teeth. Once children enter the teething stage, they become more irritable and sickly. Hence, parents are advised to immediately seek medical help if they observe that their babies are in constant discomfort.
