People woes at work

Article Abstract:

People problems are most prevalent in offices because in this setting, individuals with different expectations and perceptions are contained in one place and forced to interact on a daily basis. There are basically six personality types in the office, namely, the the exploders, the know-it-alls, the competitors, the yes-men, the shy and quiet and the negative types. Without proper communication between these individuals, conflict in the office cannot be avoided.

How to manage anger and handle conflict

Article Abstract:

Anger and conflict can be dealt with in four ways: retaliation, domination, isolation and calm confrontation. Not one method is considered ideal as each is applicable to certain situations. Women, for their part, should never consider being angry as something not worthy of their gender. They have to express their anger in a controlled manner if only to satisfy their need to be valued and respected.
