Protecting against Group B strep

Article Abstract:

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Centers for Disease Control have issued new guidelines to prevent the transmission of Group B streptococcus (GBS) from mothers to newborns. GBS is often symptomless in the mother, but can cause brain damage or death to the infant.
