Protecting choice

A number of medical students want to include abortion training in their curriculum. A 1992 survey on ob/gyn chief residents revealed that only 50% have conducted first- or second-trimester abortions. A group called Medical Students for Choice a offers six-week course on abortion.

Expert dietitians discussed the flaws of three dieting books. All of them recommend programs that are hard to follow because they limit tasty foods and provide short supply of calories. Worse, some are damaging to one's health. Sensible eating is still the best action.
