Pulling for the team: outrigger canoe racing requires more than muscle. It takes six individuals working as a unit

Outrigger canoe racing is a popular sport on the West coast that offers both physical and mental challenges. Six team members propel a 40-ft canoe through ocean waters. The sport is accessible to beginners and is a great upper-body workout. Club memberships usually cost around $50.
