Risk factors for toxemia

Article Abstract:

Five percent of pregnant women develop toxemia, which is a disease that can seriously harm the mother and baby if left untreated. Women who are heavy and women who work are at greater risk of developing toxemia, according to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
