Rowing the right way: master the motion by getting your legs into the act

Indoor rowing is an excellent cardio-vascular exercise that may help prevent osteoporosis. However, many people use the wrong technique, putting too much stress on their lower back. Tips on proper technique include using continuous, controlled motions and not locking elbows or knees.

A good water workout will build strength and firm muscles just as well as a land exercise program. In addition, water exercise is easier on the body, and swimmers are less likely to injure themselves. Twelve water exercises are included.
