Skin and stress: the relaxation factor

Article Abstract:

Stress can have a definite effect on the skin, bringing out individual tendencies such as dryness, oiliness or hives. Although no in-depth research has been done on the subject, relaxation may benefit the skin. Two relaxation exercises are presented.

Issues concerning scar tissue and how to prevent cuts from scarring is discussed. Clinical treatments for the removal of old scars are detailed including Excimer Laser, Pulsed Dye Laser, Carbon Dioxide Laser, Steroids and Microdermabrasion.
