Article Abstract:

The language development in children from before birth to 24 months is traced. Research has indicated that fetuses can hear their mothers and thus can already start to develop their language ability. Babbling is an important step in language acquisition and mothers should talk to their babies.

Is your baby getting enough stimulation?

Infants need stimulation to develop mentally and physically. Day care providers sometimes do not provide adequate methods of stimulation. Ways to stimulate children at different stages with toys and interaction are discussed.
