Babies need guidance of parents to learn language because more communication with the child would improve his verbal skills. Kathy Hirsh-Pasek, PhD, coauthor of 'How Babies Talk' suggests asking questions, reading books, and telling stories to the child that would help them to develop their verbal skills.
