The medical community is relaxing its rules in dispensing pain medication due to the recognition of the differences of pain treshold in each individual. Pain is still the least understood of the many medical conditions affecting human activity.

The nurses' health study
Article Abstract:
The Nurses' Health Study is a continuous project aimed at identifying the factors affecting the health of women. Over 120,000 nurses participating in the study have answered questionnaires about their health every other year since 1976.
