Article Abstract:

Zsuzsanna (Z) Budapest has had three very strong role models, her grandmother, a Suffragist, her mother, a sculptor and a spiritual medium, and an aunt. Z grew up in Hungary, but fled to the US where she formed a spiritual group for women based on the Old Religion, paganism. This was her way of reclaiming a path of empowerment for women. She became a feminist, finding in feminism the space in which both her world view and spirituality converged.

Chris Gilman is a special effects designer for movies. He has designed space suits for the movies and NASA commissioned him to submit a design for a space suit that they might use. Gilman enjoys wearing armor, and his knowledge of armor informs many of his designs. The author tries on one of the space suits.

Many parents prefer their children follow the traditional approach when referring to other adults. The use of "Mr. or Mrs." is the preferred choice. Parents believe this teaches the child that adults are in charge.
