Learning Co's Learn to Speak Spanish Version 6.0 comes on two CDs, and also includes a textbook, a workbook and a user's guide. It uses a multimedia approach, and this is particularly seen in its use of speech recognition technology. It is possible for the user to record short pieces of speech, and performance is assessed by a pronunciation gauge. There are a number of other multimedia features, including video excerpts from cultural films and text-based grammar guides.
