The art of facilitation

Article Abstract:

Group facilitation is more concerned with process, or with how something is achieved, rather than with what a particular member does. It is one activity where full cooperation between all people is a necessity and where values of equality, power sharing, decision-making and personal responsibility must be shared. Often faced with serious challenges as they ensure the success and effectivity of the facilitation, facilitators must know the importance of listening, facilitative speaking, collective decision-making and conflict management in facilitating.
