An author shares her experience on how she was able to deal with the burden of being stricken with a terminal illness. Although she spent most of the time visiting the hospital for a series of chemotherapy sessions, the author was able to recover from the disease.

Living with cancer: learning to listen

A cancer patient deals with her sickness by listening to her doctor's woes and observing other patients. She believes that medical care advancement includes nurturing good patient-doctor relationships. Such move is beneficial to both parties.
