The new jack

The jumping jack is an effective exercise for raising body temperature and exercise intensity during a cardio workout. Higher, forceful jumping can help enhance jumping ability as well as tone buttocks and legs. Jumping jacks must be done in soft surfaces to avoid joint injuries.

The single-leg calf raise is a simple exercise that can strengthen calf muscles as well as train one's balance. The raising and lowering move of the exercise is done by the gastrocnemius and soleus while other plantar flexors act as support.
