Each child is born with a unique set of traits called the temperament and it is a powerful factor in determining how the child reacts to the world. Temperament can be defined in different ways but the five traits that represent the range of inborn characteristics are intensity of reaction, activity level, tolerance for frustration, response to change and reaction to new people.
