The smell of butter in the afternoon

Article Abstract:

Inhaling too much steam from microwave popcorn is bad for the health, as seen in a man from Colorado who contracted bronchiolitis obliterans due to his excessive intake of the fume. Diacetyl, a substance used to enhance the popcorn's buttery taste, becomes toxic when heated and vaporized. Suggestions on how to avoid contracting a lung disease from microwave popcorn are given.
