Up in smoke: why teen girls don't quit

Girls have different reasons from boys for smoking. Their reasons are related to their body image, the way they cope with emotional stress, their concept of maturity, and peer and media pressure. These issues must be addressed in prevention/cessation programs specifically for teenage girls.
