Vitamins C and E protect muscles

Article Abstract:

Vitamin E and vitamin C can defuse free radicals, molecules that can harm muscle tissue. Overtraining, pollution, sunlight and aging causes free radicals to accumulate in muscle tissue. Research indicates that 400 IU of vitamin E and 500 mg of C will protect muscles from free radicals' effects.

Common foods can be ranked according to their ability to satisfy hunger pangs. The foods that readily induce a feeling of satiation include high-carbohydrate and protein foods, while foods high in fat or are very light rank lowest in the list.

Eat lean....keep the earth green

Article Abstract:

Eating less meet is healthier for individuals and for the planet. Meat production requires significantly more land, water and energy than grain or bread production. Eating less meat helps conserve natural resources.
