Weight training: give an inch

Article Abstract:

Weight training tips are presented. Weight loss and muscle tone can be achieved by working a specific muscle with high repetitions and low weights. Bulk can be achieved by working muscle groups with low repetitions and heavy weights. Thigh trimming and shaping are also discussed.

Some athletes develop imbalances in their muscles because certain sports emphasize one muscle group or the left or right side. Fitness experts say athletes should aim for a 6:4 ratio of strength in muscle groups such as calf and shin. Four exercises are presented.
