Teaching with Telidon

Article Abstract:

Telidon is a system for transmitting graphics and text, developed in Canada to become the standard for videotex adopted by the American National Standards Institute. Telidon will play a very large role in education as a flexible, easy and inexpensive way to transmit, store and access information on a television or computer screen. Its visually effective text can be used instead of other educational aids, as its graphics can be animated and it has interactive capability. Telidon provides access to on-line information sources, and can be used with most microcomputers.
