What's sciatica?

Sciatica, an inflammation of the sciatic nerve, can have a number of causes including a damaged spinal column disc, a bone spur, piriformis syndrome, bursitis, infection, tumors or even pregnancy. Because of the variety of possible causes, it is important to consult a doctor.

Altitude adjustment

Mountain, or altitude, sickness is brought about by the body's inability to adapt to higher altitudes. Symptoms are frequently mild, but also can be extremely serious. A slow ascent to higher altitudes and a high-carbohydrate diet can help prevent altitude sickness.
