A single woman discovers her aching need for a man to lug a heavy piece of furniture, just when she begins enjoying her independent life. Although she believes that men are not necessary for these tasks, she claims that their absence sometimes makes single girls suffer from 'subtle indignities' which, although fleeting, can sometimes undermine one's self-confidence.
