Peggy Witte is the 41-year-old president and chief executive officer of Royal Oak Mines. Despite opposition from her adversaries, she has managed to consolidate enough power within the Canadian mining industry. Although she failed to take over Lac Minerals, Witte is still steadfastly pushing her company to greater success.

Award-winning Canadian fashion designer Angela Bucaro knew at a young age that she would enter the fashion industry. She attended Concordia University in Montreal to prepare herself for this career. In 1988, she started her own company with a knitwear line.
