The ability to strengthen and increase the flexibility of calves prove to be vital in enhancing stability and balance. Injuries, such as shin splints, can also be prevented by strong calves. 'Seated calf raise' and 'finnegan on form' are exercises that strengthen calves.

Ski-ready calves

An exercise routine that includes seated calf raises, leg press calf raises, and single-leg calf raises can develop strength and endurance for the calf muscles. Stronger calves lead to better performance in activities, particularly those done during the ski season.
