Abortion and animals: keeping women in the equation

Article Abstract:

Animal rights and abortion are two separate issues that cannot be related. Women have the absolute right to decide for an abortion whenever and for whatever reasons they may have. Moreover, each human fetus is equally or more significant than the earth and other living animals.

Blocked vegetarians

A devoted vegan and animal advocate is often stymied by the negative attitudes of meat-eaters. She copes with them by labeling them 'blocked vegans' - whose consciousness simply blocks out the animal sources of meat.
