An open or shut case?

Article Abstract:

Economic geologists and petroleum geologists have come up with contrasting theories on the movement of fluids and the changes that geological matter undergo. The case of the origin of methane is one example of the lack of definitiveness of research on this area. The processes that accompany the existence of the material in natural gas is still being debated. Thus, there is still much to be done in fuel research.
