Animal rights activists turn the screw

Article Abstract:

Biomedical researchers in Germany and Britain are seeking support from research organizations and politicians following threats of violence by militant animal rights activists. Mainstream animal rights organizations in Germany are calling for constitutional change to protect the rights of animals, but both German and British animal protection groups describe the violence as counter-productive. A legislative initiative is to start in Germany to help reduce the number of animal experiments.
