Art of the ancients

Article Abstract:

The desire to see the excavation skill in a progressive evolutionary context that simple artistic expressions should lead to more sophisticated creations, has plagued the study of early art. The various findings of pieces of ancient art at different places are described.

When larger drops evaporate faster

Article Abstract:

It is shown that the behaviour of the largest drops evaporate fastest and the smallest ones more slowly and it is related to the coexistence of thick and thin water films during evaporation. An experiment substantiating the same, is discussed.
