Big bird business: an economic boon for villagers

Article Abstract:

The establishment of the Tmatboey Ibis Ecotourism Project in Cambodia, which aims to prevent the extinction of ibises and provide a source of livelihood for local villagers, is discussed. Details of the project, as well as its effects on the economic condition of the village, are also presented.

The forgotten valcano: Mount Rungwe in southern tanzania is as unique as the country's more famous Mount Kilimanjaro or Ngorongoro Crater

Article Abstract:

The Mount Rungwe, in Tanzania is generously bestowed by the nature in terms of both wildlife and vegetation. The efforts to explore the already forgotten volcano, by the Southern Highlands Conservation Program (SHCP), are described.
