Bush Tucker, Bush Pets, and Bush Threats: Cooperative Management of Feral Animals in Australia's Kakadu National Park

Article Abstract:

The role of indigenous knowledge in conservation management is examined, using the collaboration between Jawoyn residents and the federal government in Kakadu National Park, Australia. Management begins with issues on which there is agreement between the different groups, with joint exploration initiated on issues that are more contentious.
