Article Abstract:

Semiconductor fabrication is one of the fastest growing industry and has grown by more than 10 percent a year over the past few decades and currently consists of some 900 plants and hundreds of thousands of workers worldwide which has led the US government to turn their attention to the impact of industry on environment and on the health of its employees. The workers working in this industry wear bunny-suits to keep hair and flakes of skin from polluting the environment, and water used in manufacturing is filtered so that it is far cleaner than the drinking water.
