Alan Rabinowitz, the director of WCS's science and exploration program believes that conservation can never be separate from what's going on in the real world which means dealing with government officials, agencies, communities. He feels that when it all comes together and one has accomplished something big, like Cockscomb, itEs the most incredible feeling in the world.
