Crazy crisis for Christmas

Article Abstract:

Invasion of the Yellow Crazy Ant on Christmas Island threatened to wipe out much of the island's unique fauna. A part of this Island consists of red crabs and the rest of the island is taken over by a small invasive ant, the Yellow crazy Ant.

Floods, flames and foxes

Article Abstract:

A study is undertaken to construct a timeline of ecological events, species declines and introductions, wildfires, floods and droughts. The treat of flood and drought on Australia's arid mammal fauna are identified.
