Distinct types of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma identified by gene expression profiling

Article Abstract:

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is a common subtype of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. A systematic characterization of gene expression in B-cell malignancies was undertaken using DNA microarrays. A diversity in gene expression was found among the tumours of DLBCL patients, and two molecularly distinct forms were identified.

Genomic binding sites of the yeast cell-cycle transcription factors SBF and MBF

Article Abstract:

Research is presented concerning the influence of the sequence-specific transcription factors MBF and SBF in the interactions of genomic DNA and proteins in yeast cells. The functional specialization of binding sites is discussed.
