Effects of predator removal on mallard duckling survival

Article Abstract:

An experiment was conducted to study the effects of predator removal on mallard duckling survival in Saskatchewan, Canada, USA, in the years 2000-2001. Through a comparison of 4 treatment site and 4 control site, the survival of 686 ducklings from 78 broods was determined using radiotelemetry and periodic counts.
