Researcher sues over 'fraud' sanction

Article Abstract:

A researcher has taken the University of Dusseldorf in Germany to court after being stripped of his right to teach at the university, following an internal inquiry into allegations of scientific fraud. The university has defended its actions, claiming that its inquiry raised questions about how genuine some of the researcher's published experiments were. The fraud allegations focus on a paper on the effect of gamma-irradiation on the viability of knee ligament grafts in foxhounds.
