In search of the simplest cell

Article Abstract:

Several different ways are there for investigating what constitutes a minimal cell like RNA-based, lipid-based theory and experiment while the progress requires finding common themes between them. It needs to enquire about the composition and working of a minimal cell, which has some form of metabolism, genetic replication from a template, and boundary production.

Chemical remodelling of cell surfaces in living animals

Article Abstract:

The execution of Staudinger ligation that can be executed in living animals, thus enabling the chemical modification of cells within their native environment is presented. It is seen that Staudinger ligation can be used for studying the chemical remodeling of cell surfaces in living cells and can be used to probe biology in living animals.

Cell bodies in a cage

Article Abstract:

The cell theory states that a cell is an elementary unit, from which all living organisms are originated. However Thomas Henry Huxley contradicts the cell theory and believes that the cells of multicellular organisms are not anatomically isolated.
