The primate research facilities of the California Regional Primate Center and the Emory University's Yerkes Regional Primate Research Center were the object of protest movements by animal rights activists for their World Laboratory Animal Liberation Week protest.

Teen activist continues fight

Article Abstract:

Teenager Anthony Wong vows to continue his fight for animal rights, despite being incarcerated for being involved in the 1996 Fur-Free Friday protest. Wong hopes to inspire youths with his example, both in the protest activity and during his incarceration.
