Article Abstract:

The extent to which the non-native English speaking researchers are at disadvantage is discussed. Many non-English-speaking nations like Japan, Korea, France and Germany are emphasizing on the importance of English language, as English is considered to be the basic language of science.

Role of ERas in promoting tumor-like properties in mouse embryonic stem cells

Article Abstract:

Results indicate that the tumor-like growth properties of embryonic stem cells is conferred by the transforming oncogne ERas, which are Ras-like genes expressed in embryonic stem cells. Data show that ERas react with phosphatidylinositol-3-OH kinase to cause tumorigenicity.
