Article Abstract:

A videotape from True Friends shows how chimpanzees used for biomedical researches are being mistreated by depriving them of their emotional, psychological and physical needs. The chimpanzees are being experimented by the SEMA laboratory which is now owned by the Diagnon Corporation.

HIV link endangers chimps

Article Abstract:

Recent studies showed that HIV-1 has originated in West African chimpanzees. Results of DNA tests indicate the a subspecies of chimpanzee (Pan Troglodytes troglodytes) may have harbored the viral strain that eventually became HIV-1.
