One slip, and you're dead .......

Article Abstract:

Cone snails are some of the most venomous creatures on the planet which produce powerful poisons/toxins capable of killing humans and neuroscience research has proved that potent drugs can be made from them. Conditions ranging from chronic pain to epilepsy can be treated but extraction of the poisons from the live snails is dangerous as one false move can kill the concerned biochemist within half an a hour.

A lower limit for atmospheric carbon dioxide levels 3.2 billion years ago

Article Abstract:

Carbon dioxide, the greenhouse gas, is described to be responsible for maintaining above-freezing surface temperatures during a time of low solar luminosity. The palaeosols-soil samples presented that the atmospheric carbon dioxide levels are well below than that is required to prevent the Earth's surface from freezing.
